9 Cashflows.
200 Year Asset.
20 Million Jobs.

A 3,000-mile multi-purpose corridor from Oregon to Georgia — twelve new American cities, nine independent cashflows (cargo rail, high-speed passenger rail, renewable power, electric transmission, internet fiber, oil pipelines, gas pipelines, water, and land leases), and all fifty states benefiting from a single federal right-of-way.

Six numbers that frame the program.

Two risks the United States is not answering.

Risk 01 · AI displacement

The white-collar middle class is losing its floor.

Artificial intelligence is on track to eliminate tens of millions of American jobs this decade — in trucking, customer service, clerical work, software, and the white-collar professions the country built its middle class around. There is no institutional response at scale. The gap between job loss and new-job creation is where social stability lives or dies.

Risk 02 · Trade chokepoint

Three-quarters of our trade runs through someone else's waterway.

Roughly three-quarters of the cargo moving through the Panama Canal is either bound for or coming from the United States — a single sea-level chokepoint that climate, drought, and geopolitics can close in a month. There is no domestic alternative. A continent this large cannot run its trade through someone else's waterway.

Six things this corridor solves at once.

Eclipse is not a single-purpose project. One right-of-way, nine cashflows, in a single construction effort answer six national pressures simultaneously.

01 · Workforce

Solves AI job displacement.

Twenty million direct-hire American jobs at $45+ per hour. Tens of thousands of long-duration careers in engineering, logistics, governance, and operations — built outside the AI-exposed office economy.

20M jobs · $45+/hr
02 · Sovereignty

Ends dependence on a foreign-controlled waterway.

A 3,000-mile sovereign domestic alternative to the Panama Canal — ending a single sea-level chokepoint that climate, drought, and geopolitics can close in a month.

03 · Data Centers

Land for Data Centers.

Eliminate legal barriers to construction. Expedite environmental impact assessment and approval — siting and permitting handled at the corridor level, not project by project.

Ideal location · Pre-approval
04 · Energy

Generates ample energy.

Renewable generation along the corridor's solar and wind belts, hydrogen-ready pipelines, and a transmission spine for long-haul delivery. Eclipse is a generating asset, not just a logistics one.

Solar · Wind · H₂-ready
05 · 50 States

Builds an economy that benefits every state.

An annual distribution to all fifty states through the National Infrastructure Trust — whether a mile of corridor passes through that state or not.

50 states · NIT distribution
06 · Compute

Expedites data-center buildout.

Renewable generation, long-haul transmission spine, and fiber-optic backbone — pre-permitted in one corridor. The three things every AI data center needs, ready to plug into.

Power · Transmission · Fiber

One corridor. Nine independent cashflows. Twelve new cities.

A 3,000-mile federal right-of-way from North Bend, Oregon to Brunswick, Georgia — engineered as the Interstate Highway System of this century.

Designed for a 200-year asset horizon

On that single corridor, eight systems run together: high-speed passenger rail, heavy freight rail, renewable generation, long-haul transmission, fiber-optic backbone, oil pipelines, LNG pipelines, and water. Twelve depot cities are built from the ground up along its length, with land lease revenue forming the ninth cashflow.

At peak construction, Eclipse directly employs 20 million Americans at $45+ per hour. It distributes annual revenue to all fifty states through the National Infrastructure Trust — whether a mile of corridor passes through those states or not.

The program is $1.3 to $1.8 trillion over sixteen years of construction and thirty years of operation, financed by long-duration project debt, patient private equity, and a federal loan guarantee — not taxpayer appropriation.

01 · Cashflow
Passenger Rail

High-speed passenger service, coast-to-coast in about 6 hours.

02 · Cashflow
Freight Rail

Heavy freight backbone, coast-to-coast in sub-48 hours, on the same right-of-way.

03 · Cashflow
Power

Renewable generation along the corridor's solar and wind belts.

04 · Cashflow
Transmission

The country's long-haul electricity transmission spine, owned in the public interest.

05 · Cashflow
Fiber

Fiber-optic backbone owned by the public, leased to carriers and AI data centers.

06 · Cashflow
Oil

Refined-product-capable, bi-directional flow.

07 · Cashflow
LNG

Hydrogen-ready, bi-directional flow.

08 · Cashflow
Water

Regional long-haul redistribution where climate and drought warrant.

09 · Cashflow
Land Leases

Ground lease revenue from twelve new depot cities built along the corridor.

Years of scrambling and learning led to a career in software product management, building products to help disabled children learn, young people go to College, and enable people to work together more easily. He has no college degree. Michael's grandfather died in the Netherlands stopping a threat to our Nation. His father stood in Berlin to do it again. The Eclipse Initiative is how Michael has chosen to meet the existential moment we now face.
